Conditional Connectors in Spanish: Summary

Conditional connectors express necessary conditions or exceptions for an action to take place, and they are used in different contexts, from plans and intentions to formal responses.

Necessary condition

Example: I will accept the job as long as I am interested in the working conditions.

Only condition under which the action will not be done

Example: I will accept the job unless I am not interested in the working conditions.

Preventive or causal condition

Example: I sent them my résumé just in case they need someone.
